Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A dual-timer with a dial that captures the light with its elegance
The tourbillon stands as one of the most fascinating and revered functions. It is not only a testament to watchmaking skill but also a marvel of engineering. Designed to enhance accuracy by counteracting the effects of gravity on the timekeeping mechanism, the tourbillon embodies the pinnacle of mechanical ingenuity. The creation of a tourbillon is no small feat, it demands an extraordinary level of precision, skill, and patience. Each component of this intricate mechanism is meticulously crafted, often by hand, and assembled with the utmost care. Today, the British maison Bremont embraces this horological challenge, resulting in the release of the Terra Nova Dual-Time Tourbillon, marking Bremont's first venture into tourbillons.
The intricate movement was developed in collaboration with French, Swiss-based watchmaker Olivier Mory, utilizing his tourbillon module to craft a complication tailored for travel and exploration. The watch comes in a brushed and polished black DLC titanium case with a diameter of 42.5mm and a lug to lug distance of 48.8mm. It is equipped with a domed anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a black DLC titanium push-in crown and an open case back.

The dial showcases a 3D anthracite guilloche finish, complemented by white Super-LumiNova on the hands and applied indexes. A notable feature is the elegantly domed GMT dual-time globe at 12 o'clock, encircled by a white and gray 12-hour scale serving as a day and night indicator. Positioned at 6 o'clock, the tourbillon is adorned with a blue propeller design on the escapement bridge, reflecting the brand's passion for aviation.
The watch is powered by the Tourbillon Dual time Calibre, a hand-wound movement operating at 21,600 vph (3 Hz) with a 100-hour power reserve. It features a black nubuck leather strap with a black DLC pin buckle.
The Terra Nova Dual-Time Tourbillon is limited to just 30 pieces and is priced at £27,500, equivalent to AED 130,600.
