The New Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7340/1R Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1999, the Twenty~4 collection was Patek Philippe’s first dedicated line of feminine timepieces. The original model featured an Art Deco-inspired manchette (cuff) design, but in 2018, the brand unveiled the Twenty~4 Automatic, which is a round-cased iteration powered by an automatic movement. This year, Patek Philippe elevates the collection further by introducing a perpetual calendar complication, marking the collection's debut in the realm of Grand Complications.
Crafted entirely in 18K rose gold, the watch features a 36mm case with a slender profile of just 9.95mm, making it sit gracefully on the wrist. The case is meticulously finished with a combination of polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing its refined aesthetic. Two dial options are available. The Ref. 7340/1R-001 features a silvery opaline dial with a vertical satin finish, evoking the texture of shantung silk that feature irregular texture, while the Ref. 7340/1R-010 presents an olive green sunburst dial for a more contemporary appeal.

Introducing Breitling Newest Collection The Superocean Heritage ’57 Highlands Capsule

Inspired by the iconic 1950s SuperOcean dive watch, and the misty peaks of the Scottish Highlands

Breitling stands as a pioneering watchmaker, consistently pushing boundaries and redefining the essence of precision and elegance. Throughout the year, Breitling has orchestrated a symphony of innovation, unveiling timepieces that not only showcase technical prowess but also capture the spirit of contemporary style. We witnessed the launch of the Navitimer in 36 and 32 mm, the Redesigned Avenger, and the New Top Time B21 Classic Cars Chronograph Tourbillon. In a surprising move that sent ripples through the watchmaking industry, Breitling made headlines by acquiring Universal Genève, marking a strategic decision that promises to reshape the future of the brand.

As the year draws to a close, Breitling unveils a harmonious blend of vintage charm and the beautiful misty peaks of the Scottish Highlands, the “Superocean Heritage ’57 Highlands Capsule” Collection with four different colors, drawing its inspiration from the iconic 1950s era “SuperOcean” dive watch.

The case of the Superocean Heritage ’57 Highlands Capsule Collection epitomizes both form and function. Constructed from stainless steel, the 38 mm diameter exudes elegance with a slender 9.35 mm thickness. The case's overall height, extending from the upper lug tip to the lower lug tip measures 42 millimeters. The timepieces are engineered for aquatic adventures boasting a water resistance up to 100 meters, guaranteeing reliability in diverse environments. The cambered sapphire glass is treated with glare-proof coatings on both sides, enhancing visibility while maintaining durability, with a solid screwed caseback. Accentuating the aesthetic allure, the bidirectional bezel is crafted from 18k red gold and adorned with a ceramic ring matching the dial's color.

Talking about the dials, each timepiece in the collection boasts vibrant colors inspired by the land and sea, including shades of beige, green, mustard, and blue. Paying homage to its vintage SuperOcean roots, the watches feature hands and mid-century-inspired triangular indexes, filled with Super-LumiNova.

Each piece in the collection is powered by the Breitling Caliber 10, providing a power reserve of 42 hours and operating at 28,800vph (4Hz). As a testament to precision and performance, these self-winding mechanical watches are COSC-certified.

Completing the ensemble, the Collection features the Ocean Classic stainless-steel bracelet secured by a butterfly clasp, providing both comfort and security on the wrist. Additionally, each variant of the collection comes accompanied by a carefully selected fabric strap with a distinctly Scottish detail, the tweed-inspired fabric strap, crafted from a luxurious blend of silk and wool, enhancing the versatility and personalization of these timepieces. The blue iteration is paired with a complementary dark brown fabric strap, while the beige version is delivered with a classic brown fabric strap. Both the green and mustard-colored versions are thoughtfully matched with a complementary green fabric strap, and for those seeking versatility, an additional blue strap is available for separate purchase. Each watch from this collection is set at a price of CHF 6,100 which is equivalent to AED 25,900.
