Four Timeless Editions Inspired by 1940s Style with a Modern Elegance
Inspired by the 1940s Premier Fantaisies models, Breitling unveils the new Lady Premier Automatic 36. This contemporary interpretation reimagines the elegance of the past for today’s woman. Sculptural silhouettes, radiant hues, cascading diamonds, and refined ombré finishes come together in playful harmony.
The watch architecture nods to the avant-garde lugs and the seamless case-to-bracelet integration of the original models. Pablo Widmer, Head of Product Design at Breitling, explains: “Our signature style is modern retro. We started with an archival design that stirred emotion, and through updated curves, finishes, and tones, shaped it into something unmistakably up to date.”

Back in the 1940s, Willy Breitling introduced the Premier line, elevating the chronograph from a tool of precision to a symbol of style through refined materials and elegant detailing. It even included one of the first chronographs designed specifically for women.
The new Lady Premier Automatic 36 stays true to this spirit. As its name suggests, it comes in a 36 mm case with a thickness of 9.9 mm, offered in stainless steel or in 18k red gold. All versions share a refined interplay of brushed and polished surfaces and feature a closed screw-down caseback, with water resistance rated to 100 meters.
The green and grey editions stand out with diamond-adorned cases, where gems cascade organically from the lugs to the bezel. True to Breitling’s sustainability commitment, the collection is crafted with responsibly sourced gold and traceable lab-grown diamonds.

The stainless-steel versions are paired with dials in rich shades of Aubergine, Sage, and Dove Grey, while the 18k red gold version features a warm Chocolate-brown dial. Each dial presents a two-tone design with contrasting brushing between the center and perimeter. Applied Arabic numerals and hands match the case material, silver-toned for steel models and golden accents for the red gold edition.

At the heart of the Lady Premier Automatic 36 is the Breitling Caliber 10, based on the ETA 2892-A2. Renowned for its precision and reliability, the movement measures 25.60 mm in diameter and 3.60 mm in depth. It offers a 42-hour power reserve and beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). To ensure uncompromising accuracy, it is COSC-certified, meeting the highest Swiss chronometer standards.
Each watch is fitted with an alligator-leather strap in gradient hues that echo the dial colors, Aubergine, Sage, Dove Grey, and Chocolate secured with a folding clasp in a finish matching the case.
Pricing is as follows: the stainless steel version is available at 4,800 CHF (approximately 22,200 AED), the diamond-bezel editions are priced at 8,400 CHF (approximately 34,000 AED), and the red gold model is offered at 14,900 CHF (approximately 60,300 AED).
