Breguet's tradition of crafting exceptional timepieces for Chinese New Year continues with this new masterpiece. Following last year’s celebration of the Year of the Dragon with two stunning creations, the Maison now elevates its artistry to new heights with this tribute to the Year of the Snake.

The watch features a sophisticated 18K rose gold case topped with a sapphire crystal, merging luxurious aesthetics with transparency. Its refined proportions with 40 mm in diameter and a slim 6.9 mm thickness, strike the perfect balance between sophistication and understated elegance, making it a harmonious blend of style and technical finesse.

This latest creation exemplifies Breguet’s artistry, with the dial transformed into a miniature sculpture through the intricate art of gold engraving. Using a bas-relief technique, each motif is meticulously drawn and sculpted by hand. Once engraved, the details are enhanced with a black coating, creating a striking contrast that highlights the depth of the design. The process is completed with polishing and hand-applied guilloché, adding brilliance and texture to the dial.

The Breguet hands, featuring the brand’s signature "open-tipped pomme" design, sweep gracefully over an hour track adorned with discreet round gold indices, enhancing the watch's elegance.

Powering this exceptional timepiece is the Breguet Calibre 502, a marvel of technical refinement with a thickness of just 2.40 mm. One of the thinnest movements in production today, it features a 22K gold rotor, hand-engraved with a guilloché pattern, and is entirely crafted in-house. The movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) and offers a 45-hour power reserve from a single barrel. Additionally, it boasts anti-magnetic properties, thanks to its silicon escapement.
