Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

Classic design with beautiful contemporary hues
While Bovet is renowned for its highly complicated and artistically crafted timepieces like the Récital 28 Prowess 1 and the Récital 23, the 19Thirty collection, introduced in 2015, offered a more restrained and comparatively accessible entry point into the brand. Now, on the occasion of its tenth anniversary, the Maison presents a refreshed take on the model, featuring dials in blue, green, and black.
The new 19Thirty Anniversary Edition retains the signature Fleurier-style case, a design directly inspired by the pocket watches that shaped Bovet’s early identity. Crafted in polished stainless steel, the case measures 42mm in diameter and remains notably slim at just 9.05mm. The hallmark crown and bow are prominently positioned at 12 o’clock. In a nod to contemporary taste, the bow bolts have shed their sapphire cabochons in favor of rounded steel tips, resulting in a cleaner, more modern silhouette. Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire crystal caseback that offers a clear view of the beautifully finished movement within.
The new models adopt pared-down, minimalist dials rendered in lacquered finishes, available in three colors: a deep blue, a rich green, and a striking black, each enhanced with a subtle sparkling effect. The layout retains the collection’s signature figure-eight structure, with hours and minutes displayed in the upper portion of the dial and a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. Four cursive Arabic numerals are positioned at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, with the numerals at 3 and 9 playfully oriented horizontally. The small seconds subdial is discreet, marked by five short indices and a slim hand that lightly grazes the lower section of the dial. Just beneath the 3 o’clock position sits an arched power reserve indicator. Blued screws are also visible across the dial, adding a touch of mechanical elegance.
The watch is powered by the in-house calibre 15BM04, a manual-winding movement developed specifically for the 19Thirty collection. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and delivers an impressive seven-day power reserve from a single barrel. The finishing includes perlage, Côtes de Genève, and blued screws. The calibre is composed of 179 components and 35 jewels.
