Introducing Bovet Expands the Récital 12 Collection With Rare Gemstone Dials

Last year, Bovet introduced the Récital 12, its very first timepiece featuring a bracelet. The creation was the result of two years of research and development at the brand’s fully integrated manufacture in Switzerland, where a significant portion of its components are produced in-house. The debut model, crafted in titanium, combined a distinctive bracelet design with an off-centered dial set over a guilloché base, offered in three striking colors.

Now, Bovet expands this collection with the use of rare natural gemstones adorning its dials, unveiling the new Récital 12 Malachite & Tiger’s Eye.

Made from grade 5 titanium, the Dimier case of the Récital 12 is lightweight and measures 40 mm in diameter with a slim 9.8 mm profile, making it an elegant choice for daily wear. The titanium is fully recyclable, underscoring Bovet’s commitment to sustainability. The watch is equipped with sapphire crystals on both sides and offers water resistance to 30 meters.

The dial embraces an openworked architecture, with hours and minutes displayed on an off-center sub-dial, available in two captivating options: vivid green Malachite or golden-brown Tiger’s Eye. The movement is revealed beneath, showcasing Bovet’s in-house balance wheel, regulating organ, and part of the gear train transmitting energy from the single barrel. The seconds wheel carries a distinctive three-pronged running seconds indicator with fire-blued hands, while blued screws secure the dial in place. Positioned just above is the power reserve indicator, highlighting an impressive seven days of autonomy.

At the heart of the new editions lies the hand-wound caliber 13BMDR12C2, the same movement introduced with the Récital 12 collection. It delivers a robust seven-day power reserve (168 hours) from a single barrel and beats at 21,600 vph (3 Hz). Thanks to Bovet’s vertical integration, more than 95% of the movement’s components, including the hairspring and regulating organ, are manufactured in-house.

The timepieces are paired with Bovet’s titanium bracelet, first launched last year, available in matching case finishes. The interplay of polished and satin-brushed surfaces, together with the subtle integration of Bovet’s signature “V,” results in a refined and harmonious design. When the folding clasp is closed, the tips of the “V” unite to form an infinity symbol, a poetic detail underscoring Bovet’s aesthetic sensibility.

Both the Malachite and Tiger’s Eye Récital 12 editions are limited to 60 pieces each, priced at CHF 29,800 (approximately AED 122,500).
