Two New Models Add a Refined Feminine Touch to the Iconic Diving Collection
Blancpain expands its iconic Fifty Fathoms collection with the introduction of two new Automatique models specifically designed for women.
Marking a first in the collection’s history, these timepieces feature a refined 38 mm case, an evolution that began last year with the debut of the 42 mm version. Now, the brand takes it a step further, embracing the ocean’s allure and spirit of exploration through a more compact and feminine reinterpretation of its legendary diver’s watch.
The case is available in either polished 18 ct red gold or brushed grade 23 titanium, the latter offering a soft, matte finish. Both versions are fitted with a sapphire crystal over the dial and on the case back, ensuring durability and elegance.
The case measures 38.20 mm in diameter, 12.00 mm in thickness, with a lug-to-lug distance of 19.00 mm, and delivers water resistance up to 300 meters.
The red gold edition features a striking dial made from black mother-of-pearl, treated with a subtle dégradé effect that transitions from smoky grey at the center to deep black at the edges. The applied hour markers, crafted from red gold and filled with Super-LumiNova, enhance visibility while adding a luxurious touch.
The titanium model boasts a delicate petal pink mother-of-pearl dial, also with a dégradé finish that deepens toward the periphery. A matching pink bezel insert frames the luminous dial, while white gold applied indexes offer a crisp, contrasting finish that ensures both legibility and refinement.

Both watches are powered by the Blancpain Manufacture Calibre 1153, a self-winding mechanical movement visible through the sapphire case back. Comprising 186 components, the movement is decorated to the highest standards of traditional Swiss watchmaking. Notably, it delivers an impressive 100-hour power reserve, approximately four days thanks to its twin series-coupled barrels. A silicon balance spring enhances precision and resistance to magnetic fields. The movement operates at a frequency of 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour).
Each model is paired with a strap that complements its character: the pink edition is fitted with a white fabric strap featuring two-tone pink stripes, while the black edition offers a choice between a black Tropic rubber strap, a black sailcloth strap, or a black NATO-style fabric strap.

Although these new references will become part of Blancpain’s permanent collection, pricing varies depending on the configuration. The black edition in 18 ct red gold is priced between CHF 26,100 (AED 116,667) and CHF 29,000 (AED 129,630), depending on the buckle. The pink edition in titanium ranges from CHF 15,500 (AED 69,285) to CHF 18,200 (AED 81,354), depending on the selected bracelet or strap.
