Introducing Bianchet Unveils The New B 1.618 UltraFino

Bianchet specializes in creating timepieces that blend modern design with traditional Swiss watchmaking techniques, resulting in creations with truly unique designs. Today, the brand releases the Bianchet B 1.618 UltraFino in two versions: a closed dial or an openworked variant.

The B 1.618 UltraFino marks a milestone for the brand as its first automatic flying tourbillon. Inspired by the Golden Ratio, a timeless mathematical concept that helps describe your design as balanced, and aesthetically pleasing. The case is crafted from Grade 5 titanium, measuring 40 mm x 8.9 mm, and boasts a distinctive tonneau shape. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, which is also present on the caseback, allowing the wearer to appreciate the intricate movement housed within.

As mentioned, the watch comes in two versions: an openworked model showcasing the movement and a dial version featuring the exclusive Golden Diamond pattern, a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic Clou de Paris motif inspired by the Golden Ratio. The skeletonized hands are coated with luminous paint for enhanced readability, while the indices follow the Fibonacci-inspired theme, a sequence of numbers where the next number is simply the sum of the previous two numbers. The flying tourbillon takes center stage, with its 2.66 mm thick tourbillon cage positioned at 6 o’clock.

At the heart of the watch is the Bianchet Caliber UT01, an automatic movement with an ultra-thin profile of just 3.85 mm and with a gold rotor designed with interlacing Fibonacci spirals. Despite its slim design, the movement is engineered to offer precision performance, with a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) and a power reserve of 48 hours. The watch comes equipped with an integrated titanium bracelet and a vulcanized blue rubber strap. 

The closed dial variant is priced at CHF 55,500, approximately AED 227,000, while the openworked variant is priced at CHF 60,500, approximately AED 247,300.
