Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

A limited edition timepiece inspired by ice plains cracks
The French brand Bell & Ross is renowned for its unique ability to fuse aeronautical style with modern design, showcasing a distinctive aesthetic inspired by aircraft cockpit instruments as we saw in the BR 03 Gyrocompass. In 2019, the brand introduced the BR 05 Collection, celebrated for its integrated sports watches, which quickly became an icon embodying a contemporary lifestyle. Among its standout features is the skeletonized iteration, which has captivated enthusiasts with dial variations in gray, blue, black, and green. Now, Bell & Ross advances this evolution with the launch of the BR-05 Skeleton Arctic Blue, featuring a creative dial that captures the serenity and allure of a glacial ice block.
The case is crafted from stainless steel, featuring a square bezel secured by four screws and a combination of brushed and polished finishes. Just like the other BR 05 skeleton variants, it measures 40 mm in width and 10.33 mm in thickness. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a sapphire crystal case-back provides a view of the movement. The screw-down crown ensures water resistance up to 100 meters, making it a good daily watch.

The skeletonized dial features a frosted texture and a transparent panel. A blue-tinted glass plate, laser-engraved with irregular lines, imitates the cracks found in icy plains, resembling frost marking the path of those fractures. The dial features applied indices and skeletonized hands filled with white Super-LumiNova, ensuring optimal legibility in low light.
The watch is powered by the BR-CAL.322 automatic movement, based on the Sellita SW300, and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and offers 54-hours of power reserve. The watch is offered with an integrated steel bracelet featuring a folding clasp or an optional rubber strap, also with a folding clasp. It is limited to just 250 pieces and is priced at CHF 7,700, approximately AED 32,000.
