Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A limited edition with a built-in compass and dual time zone display
Among Bell & Ross’s most distinctive collections is the Flight Instrument series, a line that reinterprets cockpit tools into wearable timepieces. From the Horizon to the Gyrocompass, each edition pays tribute to the precision and spirit of aviation. The latest addition, the BR-03 GMT Compass, continues this legacy by combining a compass-inspired layout with a dual time zone function for modern travelers.
The watch is housed in the signature square-shaped case that defines the BR-03 collection, crafted from brushed and polished stainless steel. It measures 42 mm in diameter and 12.3 mm in thickness. A bi-directional rotating bezel made of black and blue anodized aluminum frames the dial, featuring a 24-hour scale and a luminous pip at the top for enhanced visibility. The case is water-resistant to 100 meters.
The black dial draws inspiration from the appearance of a magnetic compass. A white flange encircles the display, marked with cardinal points and a 360-degree compass scale. The hour and minute hands are black with white Super-LumiNova that emits a green glow in low light. The diamond-shaped GMT hand is openworked and finished in red and white, while the blue-tipped seconds hand visually connects to the blue section of the bezel. A discreet date window appears at 4:30. The watch’s dual-purpose GMT hand allows wearers to track a second time zone or, when used correctly under sunlight, to determine direction using the built-in compass scale.
Powering the watch is the caliber BR-CAL.303, an automatic movement based on the Sellita SW330-2. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz), it offers a power reserve of 42 hours.
