The Qatari Company's Momentum Continues with its Sophisticated Second Offering
After launching the new brand, “Beda’a”, with its inaugural watch, “Fortress”, the Qatari Group Al-Bidaa is reviving one of its successful sports watches. Introduced in 2016, the Attrayant watch, one of the first designs in the collection, is distinguished by its octagonal design that seamlessly blends elegance and sportiness. With the emergence of the new name “Beda’a”, the company is confirming its seriousness and its endeavor to go global by redesigning the Atreon watch, which has received many updates. This precise process aims to raise the watch to new heights of quality, and align it with the company’s vision of providing the utmost precision. The new watch was unveiled today, one day after announcing the new brand, Bidaa, and sales are scheduled to begin the following summer. The company will be present during Geneva Watch Week at the Beau Rivage Hotel from April 9 to 14, If you are in Geneva, you can visit them to see their latest publications.

The radical changes in the case design are evident, although it retains the octagonal design as its identity. However, the updates affected almost everything from the lugs to the side of the case.
The case of the watch is made of stainless steel 316L, the most commonly used alloy in steel watches. It comes in two sizes, 38mm and 35mm, while the thickness remains the same at 11mm. The octagonal brushed bezel is the most distinctive element of the case. The crown, adorned with the B logo of the brand, is guarded by two brushed crown guards. The watch comes with sapphire crystal on both sides and offers a water resistance of 100 meters, making it a perfect daily timepiece.

The dial of the watch is available in a range of colors including black, white, brown, green, and beige. It features a vertical brushed finish, adding a touch of elegance. Positioned at 6 o'clock, there is a discreet date window, providing practicality without compromising the overall aesthetic. The dial is adorned with skeletonized hands and applied indices, enhancing readability and style. A polished minutes track runs around the periphery, accentuated by Super-LumiNova dots for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions, ensuring the watch remains both functional and fashionable.

Powering the watch is the Swiss movement ETA 2824, an automatic movement. It beats at 28,800 Vph (4Hz) and offers a power reserve of 38 hours. Equipped with a bi-directional ball-bearing rotor. The watch comes with a rubber strap matching the color of the dial. The watch will be available next summer, with pricing available upon request.
