Introducing Baltic Unveils The New Prismic Stone Charoïte

Baltic is an independent French watch brand known for blending vintage-inspired aesthetics with modern craftsmanship at an accessible price. At the beginning of last year, Baltic unveiled the Prismic Collection, inspired by geometric shapes, the luminous refractions of prisms, and the aesthetics of "cocktail" watches traditionally designed for women. Following the initial release, Baltic expanded the collection with the Prismic Stone trio, featuring natural stone dials that showcase unique colors and patterns. This year, the brand continues to evolve the collection with the introduction of the Prismic Stone Charoïte, a stunning new model crafted in collaboration with Le Paris Watch Club.

The Prismic Stone Charoïte features a 36mm case with an elegant 9.2mm profile, reflecting the refined aesthetics of cocktail watches. The case is composed of five distinct parts, allowing for varied finishes and the integration of multiple materials. Its bezel, lugs, and caseback are crafted from stainless steel and seamlessly embedded into a grainy Grade 5 titanium case. The double-dome sapphire crystal is encircled by a bezel with contrasting finishes: a polished upper section and a circular-brushed lower part. The lugs are polished on top, with horizontal brushing along the sides.

The dial is carved from natural Charoïte stone, renowned for its striking purple hue and unique patterns, making each dial a one-of-a-kind. The deep purple color, traditionally associated with royalty in France and notably the official color of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, adds a touch of nobility to this refined timepiece. Brushed dauphine hands and polished indices complement the natural beauty of the stone. The absence of a small seconds sub-dial ensures a clean, uncluttered look, allowing the mesmerizing Charoïte dial to take center stage.

Powering the watch is the Peseux 7001 caliber, a mechanical movement developed by the Swiss ETA manufacture. This manual-winding movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz) and offers a power reserve of 42 hours. The watch is available with either an Italian calf leather strap or a stainless steel mesh bracelet.

The watch is limited to just 30 pieces and priced at €1,400 (AED 5,348) for the strap variant, while the bracelet variant costs an additional €60, bringing the total to €1,460, approximately AED 5,577.
