Founded in 2017 by Etienne Malec, “Baltic” is a French watch brand known for its dedication to mechanical timepieces inspired by mid-20th century design.

One of the brand’s key achievements has been the development of its dive watch line, particularly the "Aquascaphe" series, which combines heritage styling with functional reliability. Over the years, Baltic has earned global recognition for producing thoughtfully designed, accessibly priced watches that appeal to both enthusiasts and serious collectors alike.
In its latest release, Baltic introduces a new collection of dive watches, the “Aquascaphe MK2” collection, comprising four distinct models—each offered in two case sizes.
Crafted from durable 316L stainless steel, the case is available in two sizes—37mm and 39.5mm in diameter—offering options for varying wrist profiles. With a lug-to-lug measurement of 45mm or 47mm respectively and a consistent 20mm lug width, the watch ensures a balanced and comfortable fit. The case features a thickness of 12.9mm (10.7mm without the double-domed sapphire crystal), combining a slim profile with robust construction. Designed for serious underwater use, it offers 200 meters of water resistance, a screw-down crown with protective crown guards, and a unidirectional bezel with 120 firm clicks for precise timing.
Each dial is available in blue, green, or grey, or silver offered in both case sizes to suit a range of wrist profiles. The hands and hour indices are coated with Super-LumiNova to ensure excellent legibility in low-light conditions. A graduated railroad-style minute track frames the dial, adding both functional precision and a refined vintage character.
The watch is powered by the Miyota 9039, automatic movement. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The calibre offers a standard 42-hour power reserve, making it well-suited for everyday wear without requiring frequent winding.

The watch is offered with a choice of FKM rubber straps featuring a saffiano leather texture, available in grey, white, blue, or green, and secured with a stainless steel pin buckle.

Alternatively, a stainless steel bracelet is available for a more traditional look and feel. Each watch in the collection is priced at EUR 630 approximately equivalent to AED 2,750.
