A Natural Malachite Dial and Two Case Sizes
Audemars Piguet has unveiled a new timepiece that blends refined color with luxurious materials, available in two sizes. The “Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding” features a mesmerizing green malachite dial set in a yellow gold case, making it one of the most striking additions to the collection this season.

The Royal Oak Selfwinding is defined by its iconic octagonal case, paired with an octagonal bezel secured by eight visible screws. Available in 41mm diameter and 10.5mm thickness or 37mm diameter 9.3mm thickness, both sizes are crafted in polished and brushed 18k yellow gold. The cases feature sapphire crystal on the front and back, a crown engraved with the brand’s logo, and offer water resistance up to 50 meters.

The dial is made from natural green malachite. It features 18-carat yellow gold hands and hour indices filled with luminescent material, complemented by a white-printed minute track and a yellow gold–toned inner bezel. In a deliberate design choice, the watch is kept free of complications, allowing the malachite to remain the focal point.

The watch is powered by two distinct automatic movements, depending on the case size. The 41mm model features the calibre 4309, with 225 components, a frequency of 28,800vph (4Hz), and a 70-hour power reserve. The 37mm version houses the calibre 5909, comprising 174 components, also running at 28,800vph (4Hz), with a 60-hour power reserve. Both movements are meticulously finished with Côtes de Genève and equipped with a rose gold skeleton rotor engraved with the AP logo.

The watch is fitted with an 18-carat yellow gold integrated bracelet, secured by a three-blade folding clasp. The 41mm Royal Oak Selfwinding is priced at CHF 64,700, which is equivalent to AED 306,000 approximately, while the 37mm version is available for CHF 59,800, which is equivalent to AED 255,500 approximately.
