A grained dial reflecting the brand’s legacy in handcrafted decoration
After Audemars Piguet unveils its first-semester novelties for 2025 and in celebration of its 150th anniversary, the brand introduces a new addition to the Code 11.59 Chronograph collection—the Tuscany Special Edition. This striking timepiece features a two-tone case, combining blue ceramic and 18k white gold, complemented by a textured grained dial.
The case construction blends polished 18k white gold with a blue ceramic mid-section, while the lugs showcase an openworked, futuristic design. Measuring 41mm in diameter, approximately 50mm lug-to-lug, and 12.6mm in thickness, the watch offers a water resistance of 30 meters.
The Tuscany Blue dial features a distinctive grainy texture, adding depth to its aesthetic. The three sub-dials have a snailed finish, while the raised peripheral flange integrates a circular snailed tachymeter scale, with its pronounced slope marking the minutes/seconds track.
Unlike other Code 11.59 Chronographs, this edition omits the date window at 4:30. The hour markers are set with baguette-cut diamonds, a departure from previous chronograph models, while Super-LumiNova is applied exclusively to the hour and minute hands.
The sapphire caseback reveals the Audemars Piguet Calibre 4409, a self-winding flyback chronograph movement. Unlike the caliber used in the steel 150th-anniversary edition, this movement eliminates the date display, maintaining a clean, symmetrical dial layout. Operating at 4Hz, the movement boasts a 70-hour power reserve and features a column wheel for smooth chronograph actuation. The openworked 22k gold rotor showcases Audemars Piguet’s meticulous finishing and high-end decoration.
Completing the timepiece is a blue rubber-coated strap, secured with an 18k white gold pin buckle. The Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Tuscany Edition is priced at CHF 74,500, approximately AED 303,180.
