Introducing Audemars Piguet Unveils Its New Beast in Two Versions

High-Performance Chronograph Featuring Distinctive Materials and Colors

Introduced in 1993, the Royal Oak Offshore marked a radical shift in Audemars Piguet’s design language, embracing larger proportions, a more robust architecture, and an assertive presence. Its daring character quickly earned it the nickname “The Beast”, a reference to both its commanding size and its fearless departure from convention.

From its earliest iterations, the Royal Oak Offshore distinguished itself through the integration of chronograph complications, reinforcing its identity as a true high-performance luxury sports watch. Continuing this legacy, Audemars Piguet unveils two new interpretations "Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 43mm", each crafted from distinct materials and presented in contrasting color palettes.

Both versions share the same 43mm case diameter and a 14.4mm thickness. The first configuration features a full blue ceramic case complemented by blue ceramic chronograph pushers, while the second adopts a more technical contrast with a titanium case paired with a black ceramic bezel, pushers, and crown. Each version is equipped with sapphire crystals on both the front and caseback, a screw-down crown, and offers 100 meters of water resistance. Although crafted from different materials and presented in distinct color schemes, both cases retain the same bold architecture and proportions that define the Royal Oak Offshore identity.

The two versions are further distinguished by their dial executions, each reinforcing the character of its respective case. The ceramic model features a beige Méga Tapisserie dial accented by blue chronograph counters, paired with 18-carat white gold hands and hour-indices filled with luminescent material, and framed by a beige inner bezel. In contrast, the titanium version presents a khaki Méga Tapisserie dial complemented by black and beige counters, along with blackened 18-carat white gold hands and hour-indices filled with beige luminescent material, and finished with a black inner bezel. Both dials are completed with a printed minutes track along the outer edge, ensuring clarity and functional legibility.

The watches are powered by the in-house Calibre 4401, an automatic flyback chronograph movement featuring a column wheel and vertical clutch, ensuring smooth chronograph engagement and precise operation. Composed of 381 components and operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph, the movement delivers a robust 70-hour power reserve.

Both versions are equipped with interchangeable rubber straps, emphasizing versatility and everyday wearability. The ceramic model is paired with a blue textured rubber strap lined with calfskin, secured by a titanium pin buckle, and is delivered with an additional blue rubber strap for further customization. This version is priced at CHF 50,900 which is equivalent to AED 241,500. The titanium edition features an interchangeable khaki rubber strap, also fitted with a titanium pin buckle, and is offered at a price of CHF 36,800 which is equivalent to 174,500.
