A Decorated Dial Paired with a Case Crafted from Multiple Materials
Since its debut in 2019, Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet has stood as one of the most ambitious chapters in the manufacturer's long and storied history. Conceived as more than just a new collection, Code 11.59 represented Audemars Piguet’s determination to look beyond its most iconic designs and redefine contemporary haute horlogerie. Over the years, Code 11.59 has evolved into a platform for innovation and artistic expression, which initially surprised many collectors has gradually earned recognition as a bold and forward-thinking achievement, one that reflects Audemars Piguet’s ability to honor tradition while confidently shaping the future of watchmaking. And with its latest releases, the manufacturer now unveils the newest expression of the Code 11.59 collection, the "Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Self Winding Flying Tourbillon", continuing its journey of evolution and creative excellence.
The 41 mm case is crafted in 18-carat white gold and strikes a refined balance between presence and elegance with a slim 11.8 mm profile. Its architectural design is enhanced by a black ceramic case middle and matching crown, adding a contemporary contrast while reinforcing durability. A double glareproofed sapphire crystal protects the dial, ensuring optimal legibility from every angle, while a glareproofed sapphire caseback offers a clear view of the watch’s inner beauty. Completing the construction, the timepiece provides water resistance up to 20 meters.
The dial reveals a sophisticated interplay of tones and textures, defined by a beige-embossed surface adorned with a finely hand-engraved concentric pattern that creates depth and visual rhythm. A subtle minute track runs between the applied hour indices, enhancing precision while preserving the dial’s refined balance. An azuré ivory inner bezel frames the composition, contrasted by a black outer perimeter that adds architectural definition. Applied 18-carat pink gold hour markers and matching luminescent hands introduce warmth and elegance, while the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock emerges as both a technical statement and a captivating focal point.
The watch is powered by the Audemars Piguet Calibre 2950, an in-house automatic movement. Comprising 270 components, the calibre operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz) and delivers a generous 65-hour power reserve. At its heart lies a flying tourbillon, seamlessly integrated to enhance chronometric performance.
It comes with a black alligator leather strap and 18k white gold folding clasp.
