A Fully Skeletonized Design Highlighting the Watch’s Technical Mastery
ArtyA expands its avant-garde Purity collection with the introduction of the Purity Curvy HMS Mirror Titanium, marking the first time the brand’s signature Curvy case appears in lightweight Grade 5 titanium. At the heart of this sculptural creation lies an in-house skeletonized movement in a pure HMS (hours, minutes, seconds) configuration, featuring the brand’s emblematic “Stairway to Heaven” escapement.

Launched in 2021, the Purity line has welcomed numerous bold interpretations, including the Curvy HMS sub-family, defined by its vertically elongated tonneau-shaped case and minimalistic three-hand display. The “Mirror” designation refers to the optional mirrored caseback, a striking horological detail that subtly reflects the suspended movement components through the dial side. Previously offered exclusively in sapphire crystal cases, the Curvy HMS is now offered in titanium for the first time, also available with a black DLC finish.
The titanium case measures 38.5mm in width, 43mm in length, and just 12mm thick, with the crown positioned unconventionally at 12 o’clock. The matte sandblasted surface lends a modern, industrial aesthetic, while a finely polished contour along the case edge highlights its flowing, ergonomic lines.
Suspended within the case is a vertically oriented skeletonized movement that gracefully forms a figure-eight layout. Power is delivered by two parallel barrels positioned around the crown at noon, offering a robust 72-hour power reserve. Above the barrels floats the ring-shaped hour and minute display, intersected by a smaller, centrally mounted running seconds indicator.
The lower loop of the figure eight reveals the high-frequency (4Hz) balance wheel, framed by the beautifully crafted “Stairway to Heaven” bridges. These bridges, along with the rest of the visible movement architecture, are frosted with cast-iron microbeads and meticulously hand-bevelled.
One of the most distinctive features is the optional semi-reflective mirrored caseback, a rarely seen innovation in watchmaking. Acting as a discreet one-way mirror, it conceals the wearer’s wrist while offering a ghost-like glimpse of the mechanical ballet inside a poetic interplay of visibility and reflection. The company offers a wide range of customization options, including dial colors, hand materials, and various finishing styles.
The watch is paired with a nubuck leather strap and fastened by an ArtyA pin buckle. Each case version is limited to 99 pieces. The Grade 5 titanium or black DLC case is priced at 35,900 USD, approximately 131,800 AED.
