Exclusive UAE Editions Highlighting the Brand’s Latest NanoSapphire Innovations
On the occasion of Dubai Watch Week 2025, and in celebration of its longstanding partnership with retailer Ahmed Seddiqi, ArtyA pays tribute to the identity and prestige of the United Arab Emirates with two exceptional watch creations. After years of mastering sapphire crystal cases, the Geneva-based manufacture has reached a new milestone. Five years after unveiling the first Bicolor NanoSapphire case middle, it now presents a single-block, four-colour sapphire bezel, precisely arranged to recreate the UAE flag, for this special edition unveiled during Dubai Watch Week.
The first creation is a unique piece distinguished by a four-colour sapphire bezel representing the national colours of the United Arab Emirates. The second is a limited edition of 10 pieces crafted in deep emerald-green sapphire, featuring an aventurine dial proudly displaying the Emirati flag.
Both models share the same case architecture: a 41 mm diameter, 12.80 mm thickness, and a fixed sapphire bezel with a 60-minute scale. The case middle, top and bottom crystals, crown, and bezel are all made entirely of sapphire crystal, ensuring durability and offering 60 metres of water resistance.
The unique piece features a bold Quadricolour NanoSapphire bezel in the colours of the Emirati flag—a world first and a remarkable step forward in ArtyA’s mastery of the complex NanoSapphire material. A deep black sapphire case middle provides a homogeneous, contrasting backdrop that accentuates the bezel’s vibrant tones. Each sapphire component is meticulously hand-finished to achieve perfect transparency.

The second version, limited to 10 pieces, is crafted entirely from emerald-green sapphire—an extremely hard material requiring painstaking artisanal polishing. This deep green sapphire shares the same chemical composition as a natural emerald, a colour deeply symbolic of the UAE. Despite its striking hue, the case retains all the technical properties of white sapphire, offering legendary hardness along with exceptional clarity and presence.
Its natural aventurine dial shimmers with a distinctive sparkle reminiscent of a star-filled desert sky. At 6 o’clock, the UAE flag appears alongside an Arabic inscription reading “Limited Edition, Dubai Edition,” executed with refined precision. Swiss Super-LumiNova BGW9 hands and indexes ensure optimal legibility in all lighting conditions.
Powering both special editions is the Manufacture La Joux-Perret G100 calibre, finished and decorated in-house by ArtyA. Selected for its renowned precision and reliability, it delivers a 68-hour power reserve and operates at 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), all while showcasing exclusive ArtyA finishing.
Each watch is paired with a black rubber strap fitted with an ArtyA pin buckle, available with or without black DLC coating.
The ArtyA AquaSaphir Dubai Editions are available exclusively through Ahmed Seddiqi stores. The emerald-green sapphire model is limited to 10 pieces and priced at CHF 49,900 (approximately AED 230,800), while the unique quadri-colour piece is priced at CHF 79,900 (approximately AED 369,600).
