Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch

The Scheletrato is back with two new hues
Independent watchmaking often reveals its character most clearly when a brand commits to a single idea and refines it patiently. Arsène Lippens has built its identity around that principle, drawing inspiration from mid-century chronographs while filtering those references through a distinctly contemporary design language.

Within this context, the Scheletrato collection stands as a focused exploration of skeletonisation, intended to foreground structure and mechanical depth. In its latest release, the independent Swiss microbrand returns to this concept with the Scheletrato Opaco, revisiting its skeletonised, Valjoux-powered chronograph in a time-limited edition.

The case is crafted from stainless steel and finished entirely with polished surfaces that echo vintage chronograph cues. It measures 39.5 mm in diameter and 13.5 mm in thickness, a considered profile for an automatic chronograph of this architecture. A sapphire exhibition caseback offers a clear view of the skeletonised movement and its customised rotor. Water resistance is rated at 50 metres.

The watch features a skeletonised Valjoux chronograph display, offered in two colour executions: anthracite grey and blue. It is fitted with slim polished hands and applied indices, while the chronograph layout follows the classical Valjoux configuration, with small seconds at 9 o’clock, a date sub-dial at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour chronograph counter at 6 o’clock, and a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock.

Power comes from the automatic Valjoux 7750. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of 48 hours. In this execution, it is fully skeletonised and finished with sandblasted bridges, rhodium micro-blasted surfaces, and a modified Arsène Lippens rotor.

Each version is delivered on a colour-matched sailcloth strap, chosen for its lighter feel on the wrist and its more contemporary character. The watch can also be paired with the brand’s beads-of-rice stainless steel bracelet. Availability is limited to a single, time-restricted order window. Orders opened on February 23 and will close on March 3, 2026, after which production will cease. The price is set at CHF 4,350, approximately AED 21,000.
