Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A one-of-a-kind piece with a beautifully rare tiger amber dial
Arnold & Son is renowned for its creativity and for producing limited-edition timepieces that blend exclusive materials with contemporary innovation. In 2014, the brand launched the Double Tourbillon, one of its most intricate watches to date. This timepiece features two tourbillons and a dual-time display with two completely independent sub-dials. These sub-dials can show the same time, different times, or function with one tracking time while the other times a long event. Unlike most travel watches, the Double Tourbillon can accommodate time zones offset by 15, 30, or 45 minutes.

Now, the brand is introducing the Double Tourbillon White Gold Amber Edition, a new addition to this collection. Featuring a rich, moiré yellow hue, this watch incorporates Baltic amber, also known as 'tiger' amber, on its dial.
The case of the watch is crafted from 18K white gold and has a diameter of 43.50 mm. It features a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on both sides, ensuring optimal clarity. The case back is also made of sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, offering a clear view of the watch's intricate mechanics.
The dial's hue, selected by Arnold & Son, is a warm, moiré yellow. If you are not familiar, not all amber is translucent orange; Baltic amber, in particular, boasts a creamy appearance and a surprising variety of colors. This amber is the fossilized resin from a diverse array of plants, especially conifers, that grew along the Baltic Sea coast approximately 44 million years ago.
The dial features two 18k white gold tourbillon bridges positioned at 3 and 9 o’clock. Local time is displayed on the opal sub-dial at 12 o’clock, marked with Roman numerals. Complementing this, the time in another location is shown at 6 o’clock on an opal sub-dial with Arabic numerals.
The watch is powered by the Calibre A&S8513, a hand-wound mechanical movement with a power reserve of 90 hours and a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The mainplate is circular-grained, while the bridges are polished, and adorned with Côtes de Genève pattern.
The watch features a hand-stitched jungle-green alligator leather strap with a yellow alligator leather lining, secured by an 18K white gold folding buckle. It is a unique piece, one of a kind, priced at CHF 227,100, equivalent to AED 943,500.
