Golden accents and Arabic numerals honor the heritage of the Emirati brand
Arnold & Son joins Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons in celebrating the Emirati company’s 75th anniversary with a remarkable special edition limited to just 10 pieces: the Nebula 40 Steel. This skeletonised timepiece impresses with its harmonious architecture and distinctive aesthetic. Presented in a 40 mm steel case, it showcases the brand’s exceptional movement finishing, enhanced with a striking burgundy and gold colour scheme and Eastern Arabic numerals, a design deeply inspired by the region’s cultural heritage.
As seen in the latest Nebula editions introduced last year, the case has undergone a significant redesign, resulting in a more modern and refined appearance. The watch features streamlined lugs, a softly rounded bezel, and a more vertical case middle, achieving perfectly balanced proportions with a 40 mm diameter and a slim 9.1 mm thickness. Crafted from polished stainless steel, it is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and a sapphire caseback. Water resistance is rated at 30 metres.
The Nebula 40 Steel Ahmed Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Edition highlights an elegant interplay of burgundy and gold details. The mainplate and barrel covers are treated in a golden tone, while the flange appears in a rich burgundy “garnet” colour, adorned with golden Eastern Arabic numerals. The central hours and minutes hands are complemented by a small seconds subdial in gold, positioned at 7 o’clock.
Seven palladium-finished bridges surround the dial, offering a striking contrast between their satin-brushed surfaces and polished edges. These surfaces are further embellished with the intricate Rayons de la Gloire motif, a signature decorative element of Arnold & Son.
At its core lies the in-house calibre A&S5201, developed specifically for the Nebula line. Inspired by cosmic nebulae, its architecture is defined by seven functional and skeletonised bridges, harmoniously arranged to form an open, star-like structure that reflects the collection’s celestial theme.
Turning the watch over reveals two large, intersecting ogival bridges on the reverse side, supporting the key functional components of the movement. Powered by two mainspring barrels arranged in series, the Nebula 40 Steel delivers an impressive 90-hour power reserve. The energy flows through a gear train designed to echo the star-shaped layout, culminating in a balance wheel oscillating at 3 Hz (21,600 vph).
The watch is available with a stainless steel bracelet, or a garnet-coloured calfskin or technical fabric strap. The bracelet closes with a stainless steel folding clasp, while the straps are secured with a pin buckle.

The Arnold & Son Nebula 40 Steel Ahmed Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Edition is limited to only 10 pieces and available exclusively at Ahmed Seddiqi boutiques. and its priced at AED 101,000.
