Introducing Breguet Refreshes the Tradition Collection with a Modern Touch
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
The blue hue adorns the openworked design, highlighting the brand’s mechanical precision
Armin Strom presents a compelling new interpretation of one of its foundational creations with the introduction of the One Week Manufacture Edition Blue. This timepiece embodies the brand’s core philosophy, merging mechanical transparency with a strong, contemporary aesthetic.
Eschewing conventional design codes, it strips away the unnecessary, placing the intricate workings of its in-house caliber front and center. The striking blue backdrop not only lends the watch its distinctive character and name but also enhances the architectural depth of the open display. Representing a clear evolution of a proven mechanical concept, it injects a fresh, modern visual identity while staying true to Armin Strom’s DNA.
First launched in 2023, the One Week Manufacture Edition builds on Armin Strom’s first-ever manufacture movement. Following last year’s titanium edition, the new blue version refines the concept both technically and aesthetically.
The One Week Manufacture Edition Blue is housed in a 41 mm stainless steel case, just 10.60 mm thick with a compact 44.35 mm lug-to-lug measurement, ensuring ergonomic comfort and a well-balanced fit on the wrist.
The sculptural case design combines brushed surfaces with polished chamfers that catch the light beautifully from every angle. A flat sapphire crystal on both sides offers durability and clear visibility, while the case provides 100 meters of water resistance.
The dial is a stunningly openworked display of modern horology, revealing a deep blue PVD-coated mainplate that serves as the visual foundation. The dial-side view is a landscape of mechanical artistry: two large barrels dominate the upper section, their ratchet wheels visibly turning as the watch is wound. At 9 o’clock, a small black-grained subdial tracks the running seconds, while opposite it, an innovative 3D power reserve indicator shows the remaining energy at a glance. A black minute ring with applied indices frames the entire composition, emphasizing the technical symmetry and visual depth.
Powering the watch is the Armin Strom Manufacture Calibre ARM21, a manual-winding movement that delivers a remarkable 7-day power reserve via twin barrels, keeping time for an entire week without the need for rewinding. The balance wheel, equipped with four regulating screws, ensures precise timekeeping at a frequency of 25,200 vph (3.5 Hz). Comprising 194 components, the movement is meticulously hand-finished, reflecting Armin Strom’s dedication to traditional craftsmanship and mechanical excellence.
Completing the design is an integrated stainless steel bracelet fitted with a double-folding clasp for seamless comfort and style. The One Week Manufacture Edition Blue is limited to 100 pieces and priced at CHF 39,000, approximately AED 178,800.
