The dual-regulator travel watch is back with a rose gold case
Armin Strom has built its modern identity around a clear principle: mechanics should be visible, functional, and authored entirely in-house. Rather than treating the movement as a hidden component, the manufacture places it at the centre of the watch, allowing engineering, finishing, and regulation to define both form and function. This philosophy has positioned Armin Strom among a select group of independent watchmakers willing to pursue genuinely bold technical ideas.

The Resonance sits at the core of this approach. Long regarded as one of watchmaking’s most elusive phenomena, resonance has been transformed by Armin Strom into a stable, wearable system that delivers both chronometric coherence and visual clarity. The Dual Time GMT Resonance, released two years ago, applied this principle to a practical travel complication, allowing two autonomous time zones to operate in synchrony through a single regulating concept.
With its latest release, the brand introduces the Dual Time GMT Resonance in rose gold, bringing a new material expression to the concept. The case measures 39 mm in diameter with a thickness of 9.05 mm. A sapphire crystal caseback offers a clear view of the movement, echoing the transparency of the dial side. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters.

The dial is executed in black gold with a grenage, creating a richly textured surface that visually separates the two time zones. Black azurage chapter rings frame each display, while polished hands and applied indices in rose gold complement the warmth of the case. At 6 o’clock on each sub-dial, engraved and mirror-polished day-and-night indicators provide intuitive visual reference.
Powering the watch is the manufacture calibre ARF22, a manual-winding movement developed and produced entirely in-house. It operates at a frequency of 25,200 vph (3.5 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of 42 hours. Two independent regulating systems are mechanically linked by a patented resonance clutch, allowing both balances to oscillate in synchrony. Each time zone remains fully autonomous, with its own hours, minutes, and day-and-night indication.

The watch is worn on a matte grey alligator leather strap with matching grey stitching, secured by an 18-carat rose gold pin buckle. It is produced as a limited edition of 50 pieces and priced at CHF 115,000, approximately AED 550,000.
