A new chapter marked by the brand’s first full-titanium watch
Alpina is known for its rugged sports watches and for introducing some of the earliest concepts of what we now recognize as the “tool watch.” In 2022, Alpina launched the Alpiner Extreme, a new design for its emblematic Extreme line, which first debuted nearly 20 years ago. This year, the brand pushes its limits with its first-ever full titanium timepiece: the Alpiner Extreme Automatic Titanium.
The new release features a robust 39mm cushion-shaped case, measuring 11.5mm thick and crafted entirely from Grade 2 titanium, with a mix of brushed surfaces and polished bevels. The case includes integrated lugs and the signature fixed bezel with exposed screws. A screw-down crown and a screw-down caseback, help ensure a water resistance of 200 meters.
The silver brushed dial is adorned with Alpina’s iconic triangle pattern, complemented by applied indices filled with white luminous material for excellent low-light readability. It also features a date window at 3 o’clock and a red-triangle tip on the seconds hand.
The watch is powered by the Alpina AL-525, an automatic caliber based on the Sellita SW200-1. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offers a 38-hour power reserve. It comes fitted with a matching H-link bracelet, also made from Grade 2 titanium, and secured with a folding clasp featuring a push-button release.
The watch joins the brand’s permanent collection at a price of CHF 2,495, which is approximately AED 11,200.
