Introducing The New Zenith Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar
Welcome to the hub of the horoloy
A special release for Phillips at The Hong Kong Watch Auction: XIX
Creativity is the lifeblood of horology, driving watchmakers to continually push the boundaries of their designs. This pursuit of innovation often finds its most compelling expression when it intersects with art, as collaborations between artists and master watchmakers yield timepieces that are not only instruments of precision but also wearable works of art. Louis Erard exemplifies this philosophy with remarkable finesse, crafting refined and creative watches that remain accessible without compromising their artistry. Over the years, the brand has collaborated with visionary figures such as Alain Silberstein and Stefan Kudoke, producing limited-edition timepieces that highlight exceptional craftsmanship and creative synergy.
In 2020, the brand collaborated with designer and watchmaker Vianney Halter to release the Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Vianney Halter, a limited edition of just 178 pieces in standard production, which sold out within hours of its launch. Now, Louis Erard is once again collaborating with the designer to release a unique variant of “Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Vianney Halter”, blending Halter’s signature "future past" aesthetic with Louis Erard's iconic regulator design.
On November 23rd, this extraordinary watch will be offered by Phillips at The Hong Kong Watch Auction: XIX, alongside cufflinks designed and crafted by Vianney Halter, commemorating the 11th anniversary of Hong Kong’s Lavish Attic boutique and the first anniversary of Phillips’ Asia headquarters.
The round case is crafted from polished stainless steel, measuring 42mm in diameter and 12.25mm in thickness. On the dial side, it features a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The transparent case back showcases the movement and is engraved with "Limited edition 1 of 1," emphasizing its exclusivity. The case is adorned with Vianney Halter's signature crenellated crown, and the case is water-resistant to 50 meters.
The dial showcases a sophisticated interplay of textures and finishes. The upper plate features a circular satin-finished silver surface, while the lower plate is rendered in matte gray with microbead-blasted (sandblasted) silver counters. The Louis Erard logo at 3 o’clock is balanced harmoniously by Vianney Halter's logo at 9 o’clock. Time is displayed with blued hands through an hour counter at 12 o’clock, a central hand for the minutes, and a small seconds sub-dial positioned at 6 o’clock.
The watch is powered by the Sellita SW266-1 caliber, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) and offering a power reserve of 38 hours. It comes with a blue grained calf leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching and black grained calf leather lining, paired with a stainless steel pin buckle. As mentioned, the watch is a unique one-of-a-kind release, and its price exceeds USD 3,000, which is approximately AED 11,000, according to Phillips' official website.
