Introducing Hublot Celebrates Big Bang’s 20th Anniversary with the "Materials & High Complications" set

One of a kind quintet of watches in ceramic, sapphire, and carbon fiber

In 2005, Hublot launched the Big Bang collection, winning the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) Best Design Award that same year. The Big Bang became one of the most famous modern watches, merging layered architecture with groundbreaking materials like ceramic, sapphire, and carbon fiber. Two decades later, Hublot commemorates the Big Bang’s legacy with an extraordinary "Materials & High Complications" set, a one-of-a-kind quintet of watches priced at CHF 1 million.

Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Sapphire

The first watch is the Big Bang Tourbillon Automatic Sapphire, housed in a 44mm sapphire crystal case with a thickness of 14.4mm. The transparent sapphire dial reveals the 22k white gold micro-rotor engraved with "20 YEARS." Powering the watch is the HUB6035 automatic tourbillon movement, operating at 21,600 vph (3Hz) with a 72-hour power reserve. It is paired with a white rubber strap and titanium deployant clasp.

The skeletonized dial reveals the intricate minute repeater with cathedral gongs, which wrap around the movement with a length equivalent to nearly two circumferences, twice as long as classic ones. The manual-winding HUB8110 movement combines a tourbillon, chronograph, and minute repeater, operating at 21,600 vph (3Hz) and delivering a 72-hour power reserve.
