In 2009, longtime friends Alain Marhic and Joseph Chatel set out to add a distinct French touch to the global watchmaking landscape. With Alain’s experience in the industry—honed during his time at Quiksilver—he returned to the Vallée de Joux to deepen his expertise. He brought on Jérôme Mage, the visionary behind Jacques Marie Mage eyewear, as creative director, while Joseph handled financial strategy. Their brand, March LA.B, was born, "March" honoring a meaningful month for the founders, and "LA.B" symbolizing their connection to Los Angeles and Biarritz, the cities they call home.
